Join me for a nourishing holistic vinyasa & somatic yoga class on the deck overlooking the beautiful lake– a class that is lovingly designed to bring balance, strength and empowerment to your body, mind, and soul.
The class will always be outside if the weather is suitable, otherwise it will be inside the cafe, where it's nice and warm! (inside is limited to 6 people).
With your permission, I will add you to the WhatsApp group so I can share updates in advance. During our class, we will gently weave together:
- Uplifting yoga flows to energise, release tension and build strength, increase flexibility and improve balance
- Somatic and intuitive movement to help you reconnect with your body and listen to it's needs
- Breathwork (pranayama) to help support your physical movement and create different states within the body
- Guided meditation to ground, relax, deeply rest and restore
Set in the serene beauty of Mercers Lake, this class invites you to take time out for yourself to reconnect, move and flow in harmony with the nature that surrounds us.Accessible for all levels – whether you’re new to yoga or a seasoned yogi everyone is welcomeCome exactly as you are. All of you is welcome here.
Hello! My name is Jane and I live in Coulsdon. I am a senior yoga instructor with over 11 years of experience. I specialise in Vinyasa, Hatha, Somatic, Mindful and Trauma Informed Yoga, guiding my lovely yogi students toward a heart-centred journey of self-connection, self-compassion, strength, flexibility, balance and openness.
I am passionate about creating classes that are a safe, nurturing space for students to deepen their own practice of using breath, movement and meditation to come back home to themselves, their bodies and their hearts.
Alongside my yoga teaching, I am a Level 3 trained counsellor and certified trauma-informed somatic coach for women with a particular focus on nervous system regulation and trauma healing, and I integrate these skills within my teaching to support holistic healing.
Why Yoga?
Like many, I came to yoga through my own struggles. For the past 17 years, I’ve lived with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and have also faced severe anxiety and PTSD. Along this path, yoga, breathwork, and somatic and trauma healing have been vital in supporting my wellbeing and continue to guide me on my own healing journey.
Through these practices, I’ve learned the power of movement, somatic awareness, nervous system regulation, and grief and trauma release. These tools have helped me reconnect with myself, and now I love to create spaces to share this wisdom with others.
I believe that in today’s fast-paced world, we need practices like Yoga more than ever. It’s so easy to feel disconnected from ourselves — especially when living with physical, mental, or emotional challenges. My intention as a teacher is to help people come home to themselves, to their hearts, and to rediscover a sense of safety within.
