This RYA Intermediate; Fastwd Improver Course is the perfect introduction to intermediate skills and is designed for people who have just completed a beginners course, or who have some previous windsurfing experience, perhaps on a holiday, and want to further their skills and knowledge.

• Duration: a two-day course is run over the weekend and is 9 hours in total (broken down into two 4.5 hour sessions over the two days).
• Course aims: this is a training course that will ground you in the basic skills of the fastfwd Formula; you will become familiar with the five elements of the formula (vision, trim, balance, power and stance) and learn how to apply them in all areas of your windsurfing; here we focus on improving stance, getting to grips with the harness, and an introduction to more dynamic transitions like fast tacks, and gybes as well as leaving the shore in style; students move onto faster boards and performance sails, as well as gaining a greater sense of windsurfing safety.
• Qualifications: on completion of this training course students receive a comprehensive RYA log book which can be used to record development on future sessions.
• Options on completion: students who have achieved the skills may also gain the RYA Intermediate Non-Planing certificate.
• What's included: all equipment provided (board/rig, wetsuit, buoyancy aid).
