INFORMATION: RED Series

With a diameter of only 30mm, RED is a brilliant allrounder. Combined with the brand-new iFRONT head, it delivers high rigidity and durability. An additional contribution to safety and superior comfort comes from the DOUBLE.PIN.LOCK system, which firmly locks the boom while preventing the tubes from twisting. Since each size possesses an individual bending curve, the RED series suits all sail types (flex not adjustable; RDM adapter not included).

DESCRIPTION: North Silver Series.

INFORMATION: SILVER Series

The more affordable version of the GOLD series, also manufactured using the BONDED.TECHNOLOGY (cannot be disassembled). The Silver series is also equipped with the brand-new iFRONT front piece, although it features „only“ an aluminium tail end, which nevertheless consists of a single part and is thus free of play. Features such as flex adjustment and length-specific RDM tubes with a 28mm or 30mm diameter (starting at 1.80 m) combine very high rigidity with great comfort. New: the short sizes up to 1.50 m now feature an ergonomically ideal New School bending curve so that both hands are at an equal distance from the centre of the sail, thus preventing the front arm from being overstretched. A total of five boom lengths with a refined specific bending curve are available, making SILVER booms perfectly suitable for all sails from Wave to Freerace.

INFORMATION:GOLD Series

The so-called BONDED.TECHNOLOGY is the unique NORTH SAILS production technique that uses space-technology adhesives to glue the tubes with the head. This is what makes the GOLD models so strong and rigid, also keeping the weight very low. The propulsion forces are transferred directly and completely free of play thanks to the new iFRONT front piece and the carbon end piece, allowing for individual comfort settings through flex adjustment. The short sizes come with a thin, 28mm diameter to help avoid cramped forearms and increase comfort, and all GOLD models over 1.80 m feature 30mm tubes with a soft, safe-grip coating. New: the short sizes up to 1.50 m now feature an ergonomically ideal New School bending curve so that both hands are at an equal distance from the centre of the sail, thus preventing the front arm from being overstretched. All in all, a very rigid and qualitative performance boom for demanding riders.
