FEATURES: Easier to plane than the L, the M gives you the feeling of acceleration and power gybes. The board feels more alive and slightly less stable under your feet so you immediately start to re-act towards active sailing and progress faster. The M is the basic next step that introduces the serious windsurfer to their new world of passion! The new Softskin™ technology allows the boards to feel even more safe and comfortable for people new to windsurfing!

Features: The new retractable “Allgaier” daggerboard system will allow lightweight sailors to learn on this board, and progress on to more advanced funboarding in one shot! The perfect improvement board for newcomers, schools and windsurfs centers! This model is also available without the centre board!

2009 Freestyle Wave LTD and X-Tec

Freestyle Wave LTD “Tailored sizes”.

By adding two new shapes to the freestyle wave line this year we have created the largest and most “custom made” line of windsurfing boards ever produced by any brand in the history.

PROGRAM: Freestyle Wave PRO

FEATURES: 10! different volumes to find the spot on board for you. Rounded outlines and narrower tails and noses to give you the ultimate carving experience. Full double concave on a single V rail-to-rail configuration ensures smooth turns on both front and back foot. A shorter and more compact feel for ’09 to guarantee more top end performance.

TECHNOLOGY: Custom Sandwich Pro Edition made full herex 100 sandwich top and bottom with Biaxial Glass/Wood/ deck custom made lamination. Herex 100 Ω (omega) bottom stringers for size 95 and below.

X•Tech™: EPS/Glass/SX 42 hi density sandwich foam covered by wood sandwich skin on top and bottom with a Glass laminated in Single Shot moulding process.

Year 14, Continuity, consolidation and bringing fun into innovation !!

From the big man, Roberto Ricci; 'Having fun making toys for water is my daily task. Having the idea of a new board or product and then testing to try something new and see how it works is my excitement and passion.

I started to do this 27 years ago, and the feeling of excitement and fun is still here, stonger than ever. Any time it’s windy or the swell is up and there is something new to work on and develop, it’s playtime and I forget that this is also my work.

Excitement is a big part of the sport we have chosen to do, and when we have it, you can count on us making better toys for you. This year RRD have continued the shapes in their test proven designs including the FSWs, Cult line and the X - ride. So good we made them twice!
RRD have been busy producing all new blistering X fires and Twin Tips and are proud to introduce into their collection the new Wave Twin Ltd.
