Something about the watersports we do here…..
At Aqua Sports, we are committed to the future of watersports and believe that outdoor education is a vital skill for students. In order to achieve our goals, we offer various options for schools, all designed to safely teach your students watersports. From two hour weekly time slots, to week long multi-activity courses, all options can count towards attainment targets in the Outdoor and Adventurous Activities area of Key Stages 2 to 4. We can help teachers achieve their targets, and hopefully teach the teachers a new skill too!
All our courses are delivered to the exacting standards of the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and the British Canoe Union (BCU), and will hopefully result in a qualification for your students. The emphasis is on novices and intermediates, but even if you have a class of gifted watersports students, we can still teach them a thing or two.
Examples of the wide range of training we offer to the
educational sector are 2 hour PE lessons, RYA and BCU courses integrated
into their PE activities, classroom presentations to students taking leisure
activity studies and youth group use of our facilities.
