This RYA Better Sailing course is a direct stepping stone from Level 2, here we develop use of the five essentials and introduce new more advanced skills. We give you a taste of seamanship skills, spinnaker sailing and racing.

• Duration: a two-day course is run over the weekend and is 12 hours in total (broken down into two 6 hour sessions over the two days).
• Course aims: to develop your use of the five essentials for sailing; introduces helm & crew seamanship skills & theory; introduction to using the spinnaker; introduction to racing; in depth coverage of rigging, launching & recovery.
• Qualifications: on completion of the course students receive an RYA Better Sailing certificate.
• What's included: all equipment provided (dinghy, wetsuit, buoyancy aid).
• Personal tuition: can't do weekends? Prefer to learn alone? This course can be run one-on-one during the week in a series of sessions.
